Much respect to brocore818 from the No Motiv message board for finding this fun and addictive game. Joining the Hey Mercedes mailing list has its perks. What cool guys. They sent those on the list a secret link to an mp3. Word! I'm sensing this summer will hopefully be filled with good musical tours for my ears. Hey Mercedes, No Motiv, Ozma, and The Living End are all putting out new CDs and touring! Let's just hope they all don't come to the area and play at different venues on the same night. I don't believe it is almost April. My birthday's in April, but I really am looking forward to nicer weather rather than a birthday that will be peppered with a cake and having to work. Bring on the allergies.

Exit 135. I'm almost there, then BRAKE. I left my house this morning for an interview. I was on the parkway and coasting with ease southbound down the never-ending road. I hear on my radio, dial set at 880 am, that there is a 2-car accident around exit 135 in Clark, backed up for a mile and a half, with only one lane open. Well, it sounds not good, but it's only backed up a little. Well, when I got to milepost 137, a sea of cars formed a wall to my interview, which was set to begin in Brick Township at 10:45 am. It is 9:10 am. Ok, there's still plenty of time. As I sit motionless in my car for a half hour, I try tuning in my radio to the traffic report, only there's a war briefing on every station, including sports stations. So I try my hand at the FM stations, who only mention that there are 40 minute delays going into the Lincoln Tunnel and seem to think this Garden State Parkway does not exist. I keep the radio on, hoping to hear something soon. At about 9:40, they break away from the war briefing to tell me, there's a 10 mile backup on the Garden State Parkway South from 131 to 141. Also, there's another accident at milepost 142, and another at the Raritan toll plaza. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! Approximately 18 minutes later, the parking lot begins to see movement and we're off, but cautiously. As we trudge along, I see lines of cars pulled over from overheating, hoping mine will not follow suit. Then, my lane decides to stop. Only my lane. I notice a cop car stopped in my lane up ahead, so the folk in front of me pull into the right or left lane to pass. As I finally get into the left lane, the cop floors it and off he goes. Why was he stopped? Did he drop his donut? Does he have narcolepsy? Was he trying to make another accident? We may never know.

Well, I get to exit 112 and notice it's 10:20. I will probably be late. I call and tell them the story and they are quite understanding. I ended up getting there at 10:55, only 10 minutes late after all that. The interview consisted of the assistant superintendent and 2 principals. I felt like a monkey in the zoo. Three people staring intently at me. When do I get to throw my dookie at them? After deflecting questions, the assistant superintendent tells me I did well, and wants me to fill out paperwork to sub, so if I were to get hired, I could start immediately. I fill out papers and this takes another 25 minutes. It is now 12:15. The assistant superintendent asks if I have to be anywhere. Other than Aruba, I say no. She wants me to visit a school to talk to a teacher. I say ok, because that is a good sign. I get directions to the school and end up waiting for 10 minutes. The principal comes out and hey, she decides to fire 20 questions at me. After that fiasco, I ask for direction to GSP North. Get me outta here. It's after 1 and I am famished. The principal doesn't know how to get there, neither does the secretary. Another teacher tells me, but gives me the wrong directions, and I notice I am headed south. I pull a U-turn, and finally see signs for the parkway. I get home at 2:30. Monday, great day!

Oh yes, I posted my philosophy final. If you feel like thinking read it. I actually think this was one of my finals I actually deserved the "A". Peace out.

Oh yeah. One last thing. I was searching for some college papers and stumbled across my philosophy final. I was impressed by how clever and philosophical I was. I will post my work in the near future when my brain is less fuzzy and my eyes are fully open.

Things are finally looking up for now! After sending resumes to 71 districts, yes that is 71 districts, I am finally starting to hear from a few. After the interview I had on the 19th, I got a call yesterday for a job in this place. It would also be a permanent sub position from now until the end of june, but it's another possibility. My tournament bracket is a joke as usual. So far, I have 4 sweet 16 teams already out, including missouri and illinois. So now my focus will shift fully to the cuse as a fan, and not as some bracket-obsessed drunk. I talked to brandon tonight, and he has finally left the black hole of music stores. I'm happy for him. It's officially spring, and that means my nose begins to close up. Thank you allergies. Beautiful days and breezy nights are hindered by my inability to perform necessary respiration.

Oh yeah! I finally had another interview today. It was here. It would only be for two months, but I don't care. It is a semi-permanent job in that it is going to be the same class every day. It would be in a 4th grade, which would be cool as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I just got the new snoop cd. He is great! Also, tyronn lue is the dumbest man on the planet, comparing the washington wizards' playoff run to the war in iraq. Get a clue buddy. Meanwhile, the sixers are playing real good basketball. They actually have a chance at the #1 seed in the east. As for the nets, well I realized I really don't like them. Especially Kenyon Marin and Richard Jefferson. Richard Jefferson whines about every call and everyone raves about his defense, but he pushes off and hacks every time. Whatever. In baseball, the Jays locked up two young all-stars in Vernon Wells and Erick Hinske. I hope they wipe the floor with the yankees on opening day. I believe south park's new season starts tonight at 10. sweet.

I am not engaged! Was sunset/sunrise that convincing? Wow! I am flattered. Good news for me=there is a job fair for Highlands at Matawan Regional High School on Thursday, April 3rd. No Motiv may be touring around May/June. Details when I find out. I considered my future in teaching when I cannot seem to find a job in NJ. Speaking of South Carolina, I bought tickets to a minor league team for my much anticipated trip to myrtle beach in July. Only $14 for 2 tickets is my idea of baseball. Who needs yankee stadium and the fun thrills of the bronx when you can have this place. Also, since we're flying down, we would have to rent a car. Well, it is rather unfair that they insist on charging you up the ass for being one year under the 25 age restriction. Anywhere from $10 a day to $25 a day. Not to toot my own horn, but I may be only 23 right now, but I'm probably a safer driver than many many people over the age of 25, but I have to pay extra. People who have totalled 3 cars but are 26 don't have to pay these fees. Now that's fair.

If you are reading this, then you know where my updates will be from now on. mess around with my page a little. let me know if you like it or not. give me some feedback. it would be appreciated, whether positive or negative. i'm not a technical genius, and this isn't my full-time job, but i want the site to be somewhat fun for those few who visit.
