Move! Get out the way.

July 1st is creeping up on me. It's moving day. Kim & I are heading halfway to the shore, to the fine ol' town of Old Bridge. So next Friday is technically move-in day since rent is due and I can get the keys then, but furniture will not be delivered until the following weekend. Plus, since the 1st also kicks off 4th of July weekend, we figured it would be better not to drive back and forth on the parkway. So my dad will probably accompany me on the 1st just to bring a few things. I have to bring my tv because cable is getting hooked up on the 2nd (Saturday). In addition, I will probably bring my entertainment unit for the tv, my ps2 to play since I won't have any cable to watch at night, and some other stuff like my cds and some clothing.

Our kitchen set is getting delivered on the 8th, and our furniture is arriving on the 10th, so we'll be sitting on the floor and sleeping on an air mattress that weekend. We got a real nice living room set from Jennifer, which includes a sofabed, which will actually be our bed until I get my real checks again to buy a bedroom in the fall. The kitchen set is from Levitz and is very cafe looking. I'm really excited about moving, but then less than a week after our furniture will be set up, we'll be leaving for our vacation in Toronto! We leave on the 14th, and that will definitely be fun to come home to our own place. Then I have to start working to finish the summer with some money...

In other news, I survived school. It wasn't a grand experience overall, but it was rewarding since some of the kids were awesome and I will miss them. I think I am going to 3rd grade. They already set me up for it and gave me the teacher's books to look over, but on the last day one of the 5th grade teachers gave word he's not coming back, so I hope they don't shuffle me around. I don't want to get some of the kids I had this year again.

It's a beautiful day today, and tonite, we're going to a Jackals game. I haven't been to one since my brother stopped working for their radio broadcasts. In the mood for live baseball, though, however bad it may be.
