Sick Day

I am home today, listening to the howling winds and pouring rains, but when I checked there wasn't a hurricane up here in NJ, so I don't know why. I woke up at 33o this morning to the sounds or wind chimes rattling and windows thumping from the rain and wind. From that point on, I could not get back to sleep. I was actually out yesterday too, so I decided at the time of 33o that there was no way I was going in today, still feeling sick, with very little sleep, and in this storm. My throat doesn't seem to be hurting as much, but I am congested now, so this may be coating my throat. I honestly do not know. I am bored. Not a heck of a lot to do. Don't have any soup left to eat, so that's out. Don't have any new dvds to watch either. I wish the world series game was on during the day today. Anyway, since there's not much going on, there's not much to talk about. Hope everyone else is well.

Of all things I gotta hear Nickelback

After another miserable work day, I get into my car and the first thing I hear is "look at this photograph." Then I shut the radio off. I drove off to the wonderful parkway, probably killing a few birds on the way-not because I was driving fast or anything and hit some, but rather because I had this glare shooting from my eyes that would have killed anything that was in the way. After exiting the school grounds and turning left onto the street that would lead me soon to the parkway, I begin driving at 25 because I follow the speed limit in residential areas. I'm driving around a curve and see these 2 moms talking on the front lawn. As I am rounding the curve, a little girl of about 5 decides to walk into the street as a joke. She does it to another car coming in the opposite direction too. I look in my rearview mirror only to see the 2 moms chatting and paying no mind to the little girl that almost died twice. That's what's wrong with the world today.
