Face-Off!
I'm not talking about hockey, either. Doctors in France were reported as performing the first facial transplant on a woman who was bitten by a dog. It sounds interesting, and if it works, I can only imagine how quick it will be before famous people start getting face transplants. Of course the doctors are against using it for appearance, but you know if someone offers enough money for it, they'll do it. The problems are numerous. For one, it's just like any other transplant, and your body can reject it. So does that mean your face will fall off? In addition, if you take someone's skin, it doesn't mean you will look like them anyway. That's where bone structure comes in...The doctors say they have to inject drugs forever to aide in preventing the rejection. However, these drugs cause organ failure and cancer. You know what I think would be cool? If people traded faces in order to switch identities. That sounds like a good movie! Damn you John Woo, why must you be able to see the future?
