Kindergarten Crap

Welcome to my classroom, where there's no pooping in your pants allowed! I went to work today and heard those dreaded words,"Kindergarten today, Brian." I have literally feared this day since I started the job at Fairview, because the AM class is awful, and you can ask every teacher in the building to confirm this statement. I was lucky enough that they had French and music, so I got 2 mini-breaks from them, but it wasn't an ideal day. The PM class is always much better behaved, so it helps to have the better half after you're tired and frustrated. I really hope she's back in tomorrow, since I don't think day 2 will fare better, but the secretary said she sounded pretty bad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Last night, Kim & I saw Elektra with my gift card to the movies. And besides the fact that I like Jennifer Garner, I did actually think it wasn't too bad. It did have some semblance of a story, and some of the effects were nifty. When I was driving home, I saw this huge flash in the sky and the lights in Bloomfield and Nutley completely went out. No street lights, no traffic lights, nothing. I was luckily close to home and when I turned the corner to my house, I looked across the cemetery and those houses had lights. My grandmother who lives around the block still had lights, but the entire stretch of my ride home was pitch black somehow. Pretty eerie...My playoff pool is finished since I had Indy in the SB. Philly's still alive, so that helps, but getting half the games wrong pretty much eliminates me.
