Yesterday was a long day. I had to go to work at 5:30 to help unload truck. I stayed until 9:30 and came home. I then tried to nap, but maybe mustered an hour of sleep out of 2 hours in bed. I showered and changed and Kim called. She had to work as well from 8-1. Boo to working on Saturday. Anyway, we were to go down to my brother's to go to a Blueclaws game with them and meet up with my uncle. We ate some Boston Market for lunch and she drove, thank god, because of my lack of sleep. We didn't hit much traffic until we got to Asbury Park, but that didn't matter much since our exit was a mile ahead. We arrived at my brother's house to find him working on a stoop by the back door with his father-in-law. They had been working since 11:30 and it was now 3:30 or so. They continued working for another 2 hours roughly, and we all sat down to some grilled burgers and corn before scurrying over to the field. The game was pretty terrible as the Blueclaws committed 5 errors. The Bombers were leading 6-1 going into the bottom of the 9th with only 5 hits. The Claws scored 3 runs in the bottom of the inning and lost 6-4. Afterwards, there was a rather intriguing fireworks display at the field. Some stuff we hadn't seen before. We headed back to my brother's house and got back home a little after midnight. I am glad today didn't start out with work at 5:30, so I'm pretty happy today.
