We are back from the brother's house. It was an experience. It was cloudy when we got there, but when the grill was lit, it started raining pretty hard, which ensued with my brother grilling under an umbrella while rain soaked the burgers and beer. We all scampered inside to seek shelter, but there weren't enough seats because Jabba the Hutts were hogging the sofa and didn't pry their fat asses from the chair unless it was to get more food. (Sorry Rachel if you see this and are offended-no harm intended here). Well, Kim and I stood and ate our food, which was good. We went outside after with my dad, brother, Rachel's friend, and Kevin's friend Donny to play catch with the football in between rain bursts. The rain continued to hold off for a while, but still dripped a bit. I got some more info on teaching and may have a slight chance at teaching 8th grade science. One of Rachel's friends is moving, so he's leaving his job, and they asked if he knows anyone who'd be interested. I will probably find out more info tomorrow, but that'd be sweet if I could do that. So we're home and somewhat fatigued. I realize more and more that nobody knows how to drive in the rain with each experience.
