Nilidigiphaguf Day goes back to a country in Africa once known as Botswanaland, but has since been renamed Mozambique. On April 13 it was said that the indigenous people of the country set fire to their weapons in hopes of releasing the evil blood that may be left on them [the wooden handles are turned to ashes, which are then sprinkled on the first born child to protect him/her from evil spirits. The metal is melted down and reformed into statues of their "good" gods. So that's the tale of Nilidigiphaguf Day.
Hey Rob, I just read that the Pats acquired Corey Dillon for a second rounder. I'm happy for you, but scared at the same time, because as much as I hate the guy, he's a damn good runner. Pats repeat!?
I am glad Kim got the classes she wanted because I feel awful about something that happened in her current music class. We were supposed to attend a classical concert on Saturday[long story] but ended up not attending for various reasons when we arrived. She was obviously upset because the show was in Rahway, and she drove all the way down there and couldn't go. Anyway, since I'm such an honest person, I tell her to email her professor and tell him exactly what happened and that you made the effort to go, but circumstances prevented you from going. Anyway, he emailed her back and told her she has to attend another concert instead and report on it. If she hadn't emailed her professor, she probably could have copied someone's program and b.s'd the report. Sorry.
Oh, that Nilidigiphaguf story was made up. Rob made up the word when we were playing Scrabble a long time ago on April 13th.
