Next week is spring break! Woo! Not real sure what that means, but no class at least. I guess it's like a catch-up week for my work, but I just don't want to do it at all...I talked to my friend Evan, who I met while subbing in Livingston, and he just got a job in Newark. His briefcase has his planbook, some worksheets, and a gat. Protect ya neck. No seriously, how he ended up there is a funny story I would have to tell you in person. I'm addicted to Planter's Honey Roasted Peanuts right now. I bought a can from work, and haven't been able to stop eating them all night, except while eating dinner. Looking more and more forward to the warmer weather. We have plans on purchasing bicycles this summer to get around as a backup to resuming our jogging schedule. I can't wait to get back into the air. I need to get my blood pumping and stuff. I also really want to play some ball, but they took away my court in Nutley. I think they're putting up a monument for Martha Stewart in its place. Ba-zing. No, they just tore it up for no reason. Looks like I'll be playing in my crooked-ass yard full of tree roots...

NFL free agency is always an adventure. You can't buy a jersey of your favorite player because more than likely, he won't be on the team for more than 3 years. Over the past two seasons, however, I have begun to like it because the Bengals actually have a chance at signing some decent players. This year they brought in 2 new defensive starters, as well as re-signed their awesome kicker and center. They did decide to cut both of their starting cornerbacks from last season without signing a replacement for either yet, although they are supposed to sign either Bobby Taylor or Troy Vincent. While I'm on the subject of sports, I am really glad the Rangers cleaned house and brought in some fresh faces. They got rid of a lot of waste, but still have an abundance of it(Tom Poti, Darius Kasparaitis). They got rid of the only player who represented the team for the past 15 years, which was upsetting, but his play isn't nearly as good as it once was. They'll finally have a chance to give their younger guys(young in terms of Rangers years) more of a chance(LaCouture, Ortmeyer, Purinton, Lundmark). They're not the best, but it's better than watching a bunch of underachieving 40-year-olds skate around aimlessly. Hmm, what else, the NCAAs are around the corner, and my 6 year tradition of picking Maryland won't continue this year. Actually, I think I picked Kansas last year. Luckily I was wrong as usual. I miss the bloggers. Looks like I'll be doing some phone usage to get your asses back up here. There's no humor here without you guys!
