Howdy. It's been some time since the last blog of mine. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much in terms of daily news. However, I did have the luck of purchasing a new car on Tuesday. I am extremely happy, as it feels good to finally have a car to call my own, and a new one at that. It's also good because my credit was good, and now it will be even better for my future. It's a four door with automatic transmission. I didn't get any major options or packages besides a/c. The only option I wanted was ABS, but it was only offered on the upper level models, so I decided it wasn't necessary for $4,000. The car is a sand color, has a cd player(with controls for the radio right on the steering wheel!). It is a compact car, but has lots of room in the interior and trunk. It comes standard with front air bags, and has a feature in which the car can only be started with the key because of a chip that only reads the key's code. The only negative, if there is one, is that I am stressing about insurance. The dealer gave me spot insurance, which is good for 14 days. I don't officially have insurance yet, so these quotes are important because I have to officially apply asap, since it takes 7 business days for most insurance policies to process, which would take me to exactly the Tuesday when the spot coverage expires. If the spot coverage expires before my insurance kicks in, then I have to leave the car at the dealer until it takes effect. That would suck. It's not the end of the world, because it would be a couple days max, but it's something I don't want to deal with. So that's my big story of good news. The last month has been pretty miserable for me, so this was a nice lift.

Still struggling at school. Excessive reading is taking its toll on me, and I haven't had much of a social life since classes began. Work's the same story: trite and annoying. Routine hasn't changed, and my tiredness from reading carries over into my work, causing extreme crankiness...Valentine's Day is Saturday. Does anyone care? I sure don't.

In my final bit of information that you probably don't care about...I haven't been eating breakfast on a normal basis the last 2 weeks, and couldn't figure out why. I always eat breakfast, unless of course I'm sick. Well, I'm not sick, but I think it's because I'm not hungry in the morning. I have class Mon and Tues nite, and eat when I get home, and work late Thurs, and eat when I get home, so I think it's because I eat right before I go to bed. Anyway, maybe I'll start eating breakfast at night.
