Yesterday was some good fun. Went to Turtle Back Zoo! I haven't been there in years, but it was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, and it was in the lower 80s. The first thing we visited were my favorites, the penguins. Coolest animals ever. They were just chillin', but then they started jumping into their pool and swimming around. We proceeded around the zoo and met some cattle and elk. I met a new friend.

We saw a wolf in the distance later on, and a bobcat and cougar. My dad fed the goats. The goats and horses smelled like ass. What else did we see? Some happy chickens, outbreak monkeys, and otters. There's probably a few I missed...It only took about an hour to go through the zoo, and we weren't really rushing either. It was something different, so it was nice. I've been itching to go to a zoo for a while now, so I was happy.

I saw a few job postings in the paper yesterday. One was for a 4th grade teacher in Tenafly. I really don't know where that is, but I'm trying for it. The ad was like send in cover letter, resume, copy of certification, and transcripts now! No, but it said by like Tuesday or something. Ridiculous. Hey, I didn't tell you to wait till a week before school starts to post a job.

I woke up to run this morning and it was quite brisk for an August day, but it was good because I didn't sweat too much. Well, I'm going to look for some crappy part-time work this week, in case I don't have anything solid for the start of September.
