Today was a poop day overall because the testing consisted of two 25-minute sections and a 50 minute section. It was long and boring. Way too much for kids to do, especially when it's reading and writing. I was reading this book that I am supposed to read to my class every day called The Cay while they were testing. It's about a boy who gets shipwrecked on an island in the Caribbean during World War 2 with a man who worked on a boat. They ended up becoming friends despite cultural differences and overcome lots of challenges and stuff. It was a really good book. I was surprised by it. Anyway, math tomorrow and Friday and then it's done. Just in time for the long weekend, in which it's supposed to rain again. So the GHT games may be pushed back or cancelled. It's par for the course for this baseball season.

Speaking of baseball, MLB 2004 is a very fun and addictive game. I guess in part because it's challenging and I haven't had a baseball video since the untouchable by comparison Baseball Stars for Nintendo. What a classic that was! Anyway, my record in a regular season schedule so far is 8-18. It's pretty terrible, but I actually feel relieved when I can actually win a game, while in Baseball Stars, everyone on my team was powered up to their max in every category and I would 10-run rule the opposing team just about every game.

I had a really dirty dinner at Olive Garden tonight. The dish was called the Mixed Grill and consisted of grilled chicken and Italian sausage with roasted potatoes and vegetables in a rosemary seasoning. That was really good. Then I came home and watched the Simpsons reruns. As usual, it was the same episodes that I had seen no more than a month ago. That really bothers me. They've made over 300 episodes of the show, but it seems they show the same episodes over and over. Believe me, nothing puts a damper on my day more than turning on channel 5 at 6:30 or 7 pm, and seeing "Treehouse of Horror," especially when it's May.
